What is a City Group? A city group is made up of people who share similar interests, are in the same stage of life, or want to learn from each other. City groups follow a Church wide curriculum so that everyone is learning the same information together. People gather together in homes and coffee shops around the city to begin to build community and relationships with one another. This is the beginning stages of learning to do life together. The point is not what you meet about, it’s that you are regularly meeting with people and living in community as God designed you to do.
Why do City Groups exist? City groups have one, simple purpose-to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in community with others and only then can we experience the full life He intends for us. Meaningful relationships can be hard to find, and that’s why city groups exist- to make life-changting relationships relevant and accessible to you.
Why should I join a City Group? It is through doing life together that our problems become smaller and God uses others to bring support and encouragement to our lives. Even when you might not realize you need it, your city group will quickly become a place where others don’t just know your name, but care about what is happening in you life and want to support you in your spiritual journey.
When & Where? Groups meet throughout the year in three semesters. New groups start each semester making it easy for you to get involved at any time. Groups meet in a variety of places like homes, parks, restaurants, coffee shops and office buildings throughout Lincoln. Childcare options are provided for all Wednesday evening groups.

“Four Cups” by pastor Chris Hodges
What if God has had a plan for your life since the very beginning? Not just the beginning of your life, but from the foundations of faith itself? In Four Cups, Pastor Chris Hodges shares an astonishing truth: The key to your spiritual fulfillment is found in four promises that God first spoke to His people in the Old Testament, and that are still at the core of his heart and his plans for you today. God wants to rescue you; to deliver you from whatever holds you back; for you to live out His plan for your life; and for you to be part of a family that is making a difference. Steeped in Jewish history and tradition, yet breathing the transforming hope of Christ on every page, Four Cups will help you move forward on your spiritual journey. You’ll understand the four stages of faith, believe the promises of God for your life . . . and discover what it means to be truly fulfilled.
